2025 Haunted History Walking Tour

This tour is a walking tour that starts at the Drumm House/Colonial Cemetery and takes you through an approximately 1 and a half hour walk through Johnstown stopping at notable hot spots of paranormal activity, sites of tragedy and horror, and odd occurrences. You'll learn the historic value behind many of these sites as well as hear of the ghostly hauntings that have happened. Maybe you'll even have an experience of your own. It has happened! We will make a stop to rest and enjoy seasonal refreshments at James Burk's Inn.

Tours are limited to 15 people per tour. We have tours that will depart every half hour beginning at 5:30pm with the final tour departing at 8pm. You will be required to select a time slot and you may not change it once that selection has been made. There will be no tickets sold the night of the tour. Please CHECK IN with your e-Ticket or printed ticket at the DRUMM HOUSE GIFT SHOP 15 minutes prior to your departure time.

This year we are also making available souvenier tee shirts that you can add on to your ticket price. A limited quantity will be available in the Drumm House gift shop the night of the tour. Please pre-order your tee shirt with your ticket!

This tour requires you to walk long distances up and down hills. If you are unable to do so this tour is not recommended for you. If you have a motorized scooter or wheelchair that can manage long distances we can make accommodations for you.(Please reach out to us about accommodations at Sm9obnN0b3duSGlzdFNvYyB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t) Unfortunately for safety reasons we are unable to allow people to follow the tour in a motor vehicle.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the Johnstown Historical Society. All proceeds will go into the general funds to help maintain and operate our 3 properties, provide free and low cost programming to the public and continue our mission to preserve the history of Johnstown.
