Our nation is at a critical crossroad and we face a number of fundamental challenges to who we are as a people. We are faced with a church that has the answer but yet is often sidelined and ineffective in our nation. We believe there is an urgent need for the church to arise in spirit and in truth, to reignite the fire of the Holy Spirit that has dimmed over time.
Scotland is a land of great Christian heritage, but we are currently in a poor condition, so how did we get here and how do we address the challenges of today? How do we stand for truth today and how do we see the nation turned around?
Many people want to see the nation saved, renewed and transformed but don’t know how or don’t have the confidence to do so. We are therefore calling Christians across Scotland to come together for this powerful day of teaching, equipping and impartation as you hear from leaders operating on the frontlines of the spiritual battle for the nation.
You’ll hear about the history of Scotland and why this nation has a special place in God’s heart. You’ll hear the truth of the current state of the nation and church. You’ll learn why the church needs to arise in truth and be unashamed to preach the truth boldly and you’ll be equipped to make an impact in your church and local area through the baptism of the power of the Holy Spirit.
God is not done with Scotland - it is time for the church to arise in spirit and truth to rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit in this nation to see Scotland saved for Jesus.
About the speakers:
Pastor Arthur O'Malley - is senior pastor of East Gate Church and has a burden for the nation to see it turn to Jesus. He understands the special place of Scotland in God's heart and desires for the church to arise together to see the glory of God.
Dave Latham - served as a pastor in Liverpool for many decades until God birthed the spirit of revival in him and he now travels across the country equipping and encouraging the church in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He has an anointing to pray for the lost, sick, and bound and is focused on building up the church through the power of the Holy Spirit to seek after revival for the nation.
Malcolm Macpherson - is an evangelist serving across Scotland. Malcolm has a heart for the lost and has been serving the Lord for decades across the globe. He understands the need to preach Jesus to a lost and dying world.
Stewart Green - is a leader at East Gate Church and has a heart to see the church awake and arise to the challenges in the nation today by clearly proclaiming the truth of Jesus in the public square
