Austin Astronomical Society's Central Texas Star Party

Join us for Austin Astronomical Society's annual Central Texas Star Party, Friday and Saturday, September 19th and 20th at the Star Theater at Pedernales Falls State Park! Although much is member-focused, non-members are welcome to the Saturday sessions.

Friday there will be arrivals and a potluck (bring plenty to share), with Friday night's observing, and Saturday is filled with many astro skills sessions on Your New Telescope and setups; celestial coordinates system; planning observing; instruction on AAS scopes for members, plus many other topics. There's a paid AAS-members dinner on Saturday after the sessions (tickets must be purchased in advance), and then a second night of amazing observing.
