Prayers and Poems Platter

Prayers and poems. Each can hold a special place in our heart and can express something greater than the words themselves.

Bring your favorite prayer or poem and memorialize it in your very own hand-built platter. We will be using very small alphabet letters to print into the clay, so don't bring too long of text and bring your readers if you need them!

This is a two-part class with the "type-setting" part of the project to be done during student's week-long open studio time.

Anticipate 20 words to be set in one hour. Please plan the size of your text and use of open studio time accordingly.
