World AIDS Day 2025: Communities Rising Together (Gauteng Province)

World AIDS Day 2025 will be commemorated with a renewed commitment to strengthening community health, expanding access to prevention, and ensuring no one is left behind. Under the theme “Overcoming disruptions, transforming the AIDS response,” this year’s programme focuses on bringing vital health services, education, and awareness directly to the community. Through collaborative efforts between health professionals, youth organisations, and local partners, the commemoration aims to honour lives affected by HIV, promote testing and treatment, and inspire collective action towards an AIDS-free generation.
