Monday, October 6th will be our 4th Annual LYSA Night with the Lady Chiefs/Chiefs soccer teams! We will be asking all of the youth coaches to cancel or reschedule any practices set for this day so that all of the youth players and families can join us at the high school for the Girls Varsity game versus Blue Ridge @ 7:00pm.
If you or your kids have never had a chance to see soccer played in person at the next level... this will be a great & fun opportunity to do so. Before the game the youth players will be able to escort the varsity players out onto the field, do a "high-five" tunnel during player announcements... and during the game several of the youth players will have a chance to be ball kids/ball runners and see the action up close. All of the youth players in attendance will also receive a ticket for a free hot dog and drink courtesy of the Lakeland Soccer Booster Club.
Many of the boys and girls on the varsity teams got their starts in the youth program, and today many of them volunteer their time each weekend to ref our youth games. Let's return the love by getting as many families to the games as possible! Come out, cheer loud, and support our Lady Chiefs in their quest for a district title!
