OKAQ Book Club - The World Is Blue

📚🌊 Join us for the first-ever Oklahoma Aquarium Book Club!

We’re kicking things off on Monday, October 14 with a discussion of The World is Blue: How Our Fate and the Ocean’s Are One by legendary oceanographer Sylvia A. Earle.

In this powerful and inspiring read, Earle—often called “Her Deepness”—explores the urgent issues facing our oceans, from overfishing to pollution, and reminds us of the deep connection between ocean health and human survival. With both warning and hope, she makes the case for why protecting our blue planet is one of the most important challenges of our time.

Bring your thoughts, questions, and love for the ocean as we dive into an evening of conversation, community, and conservation-minded reading.

You must purchase the book or borrow it from the library. We do not provide copies of the book.
