basic pistol home defense course

We will be hosting a basic pistol home defense course on Saturday 11th October 2025. This course teaches the law on the use of deadly force in the state of Kentucky. There is no fixed lower age limit but those under 18 will require written permission from a parent for guardian to attend, unless they are accompanied by such.

The course is divided into two halves. Classroom instruction and live fire exercises, including quick reaction target identification. Cost is $ 50.00 per student with a reduction for family groups. Places are limited and a deposit is required.
This course is conducted by fully certified instructors and a certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the course.

Students will need to supply a serviceable handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition. Booking is by phone 859-498-0582 or by appointment.
