"Wild Things Welcome" is both a beer and a series of happy hour events to celebrate and encourage our local plants and animals right in our own backyards! Attend one of our three happy hour events or grab a draft or can of beer in our taproom.

Learn which native plants benefit pollinators and make your own seed bombs. Free to attend with a pop-up plant sale. Prairie plant sale pop-up. Food Truck onsite. Presented by Loess Hills Wilds Ones, Siouxland Prairie Farms & Jovin Apiary

Monarch Education & Tagging — Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m, JBS
Get the scoop monarch eggs, chrysalises, and butterflies while learning about their migration. Live monarch tagging demonstration. Free to attend. Food Truck onsite. Presented by Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve

Bat House Building Bash — Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m., JBS
Discover the role bats play in pest control and build your own bat house. Food Truck onsite. Tickets required for the building portion at jeffersonbeersupply.com. Presented by Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center.

About the beer:
"Wild Things Welcome", a Lemon Honey Wheat Ale brewed with local flowers and honey from Jovin’s Apiary. The honey comes from a special hive located on the island of McCook Lake, in partnership with Issac Walton. The beer is available on draft and in cans to-go starting 8/29 in the taproom
