Join The Duck & Cat Food Truck and Jefferson Beer Supply for a four course beer dinner. Each food course will be accompanied with a craft brew. Chef Dana and Nicki will introduce each course and beer pairing. There is a 5:00 and 7:00 pm session. Tickets are available in the Jefferson Beer Supply taproom or online.
THE MENU & PAIRINGS
Course 1 — Roasted Pumpkin & Beet Salad
Mixed greens, rye croutons, Danish blue cheese, and candied walnuts, finished with a maple–blackberry vinaigrette.
Paired with: Wild Things Welcome, a lemon-honey wheat ale brewed with local flowers.
Course 2 — Morning/Mourning Soup
A deep, soulful duck broth layered with shredded duck, wild rice, duck egg yolk, marigold petals, and a float of duck fat—originally conceived at the Sean Sherman dinner and now reimagined in version 2.0.
Paired with: Sweet Potato Ale, Malty english style pub ale aged on real tubers & lightly spiced.
Course 3 — Crispy Pork Belly
Maple-glazed pork belly with parsley cream and Hasselbeck potatoes—an elegant take on Denmark’s national dish.
Paired with: Hoppy Pale Wheat, brightened with tangerine zest.
Course 4 — Aebleskivers
Classic Danish pancake spheres with rosemary-sage brown butter baked apples, Chantilly cream, fried sage leaves, and powdered sugar.
Paired with: Tony Likes That Dark Stuff, our flagship milk stout.
