But fr… let’s talk about it! Hairpins is very excited to announce our next event in Little Rock, in collaboration with sexual health blogger LexHaveASexTalk, PILLOW TALK: A sexual health and education event for WLW, trans, & non-binary individuals.
This FREE education and resource event will kickoff Sexual Health Awareness Month at SoMa’s The Nest on September 4th and will include a resource fair of organizations around Arkansas that support healthcare for LGBTQ+ people, a free food and drink mixer supported by LGBTQ+-owned or friendly restaurants in Central Arkansas, an expert panel of doctors, public health professionals, and sexual health and pleasure conversationalists, and a demonstration of SAFE and ENJOYABLE ways to use protection and products for people with vaginas.
As much as we love a good party, our community is nothing if we aren’t safe, healthy, and supporting one another through education and conversations many of the people we grew up around didn’t know how to have with us. We’ll be your big sisters for this one… and we hope you’ll join us 💕
