Live Music featuring “Brian Congdon”

Brian is a singer/songwriter from Des Moines and has been a professional musician since 1999.

He began playing piano at age 3. In high school, He discovered the guitar and has played every day since. After college, a buddy Herb and Brian prolonged adulthood and started a band, the Sauce Monkey’s.

They played many happy Fridays at People’s Bar and Grill in Ames thanks to Tom Zmolek, who was a big music supporter. Eventually Brian moved to Des Moines and began playing music to crowds in the capital city.

He has played numerous bars and pubs through the years, and loves to perform for crowds big and small. Private parties and big events, dive bars and benefits, he has played them all.

The Courtyard is excited bring Brian To Jefferson!! as always Fued is always welcome to be brought in. We will have happy hour from four thirty to six thirty dollar off beers, carbliss & Wells and Brianne will be performing from 7 to 10
