The village comes to life on Sunday 21st September as we celebrate the autumn equinox and the beginning of the harvest season in Saxon style. Settle down in Thirlings, our magical mead hall, to meet some of our Anglo-Saxons throughout the day as they showcase their traditional skills and discuss vegetables, herbs and farming in medieval times.
Also on site during the festival will be reenactment group Regia Anglorum, displaying typical medieval combat techniques.
