Ferragosto Festa

This year ICC celebrates Ferragosto, an Italian summer holiday dating back to ancient Roman times, with a Liguria-inspired communal dinner at Chef Mark Pelliccia's stunning Agriturismo with a view. A cooking demo and bocce games will round up the feast. You will also take home a recipe as a memento of summertime together.

The menu will feature:

ANTIPASTO

Ligurian Sardenaira, a rustic focaccia topped with tomato, anchovies, Taggiasca olives, and oregon -- a classic from the Riviera.

PRIMO

Corzetti with genovese pesto and Prescinseua, traditional Ligurian pasta dressed with fresh basil pesto and a soft, slightly tangy, local cheese .

SECONDO

Mixed Grill of Sausage and Chicken

Served with roasted potatoes and a selection of grilled seasonal vegetables.

DOLCE

Vanilla Semifreddo with Fresh Strawberries

A creamy, refreshing dessert -- the perfect sweet ending to a summer feast.

Chef Mark Pelliccia will demonstrate how to make corzetti with genovese pesto and prescinseua, as well as the semifreddo. You will also take home a printed recipe for his special focaccia.

Non-alcoholic drinks will be available on the premises. If desired, please bring your own wine.
