Steam Photographer's Special

Join us for an exclusive photographers’ excursion train ride pulled by the famous Movie Star steam locomotive No. 3 on the historic Sierra Railway!

This event is designed for both the casual and hardened train enthusiast and photographer, with a two-and-a-half-hour roundtrip ride including several photo stops, where passengers may disembark and photograph the train as it rolls past. Upon the train’s arrival back in Jamestown, attendees will be guided on a tour of the Roundhouse and Shop buildings, where several nighttime scenes will be arranged for your enjoyment.

This is a rare opportunity to see Railtown’s historic shops and locomotives in the late afternoon sun and after dark!
