THE THUNDER RUN IS A POKER RUN ORGANIZED AND PRODUCED BY THE LAKE CUMBERLAND POWERBOAT CLUB AND HOSTED OUT OF STATE DOCK MARINA ON BEAUTIFUL LAKE CUMBERLAND KY. THE 2025 EVENT WILL BE ON JUNE 27TH AND 28TH AND WILL BE ONE NOT TO MISS AS IN ADDITION TO THE RUN WE WILL HAVE A BONUS STOP RAFT UP ON FRIDAY SPONSORED BY TBA, ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED BY THE NAKED KARATE GIRLS BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS, GREAT PRIZES TO INCLUDE A SURGE BRAKE CONVERSION KIT AND PLUG AND PLAY KIT PROVIDED BY HYDRASTAR USA, PRIZE PACKAGE FROM SPEED ON THE WATER, PRIZE PACKAGE FROM THE FPC, CASH PRIZES FOR 1ST-3RD BEST HANDS, AND MORE!!!
Friday, June 27th (CST)
*Registration and registration check in will be open 8:00 am- 8:00 pm at the registration table located on boatel row under the tent by the party barge stage/ dance floor. (You may register on site up until 10am on Saturday June 28th but encourage everyone to pre register to ensure shirt sizes, meals, etc.)
10:00 am- 6:00 pm: Fun run/ lunch run/ bonus chip raft up
If you're looking for a place to eat lunch on Friday before the raft up check out Rowena View Cafe at Marina Rowena. (Friday lunch is not included in your registration)
After lunch head to the bonus chip raft up at TBD. Pick up your chip and hang out!!
Bonus stop raft up location is TBD **Bonus chip boat will be announced once confirmed and will be marked with a red cloudbuster balloon and will be in place from 12:00pm until 4:00pm CST.
9:00 pm- 12:00 am: The Naked Karate Girls on the party barge stage
Saturday, June 28th (CST)
9:00 am- 10:00 am: Registration (On site registration closes at 10:00 am. We encourage everyone to pre register to ensure correct shirt sizes, meals, etc.)
10:30 am: Drivers meeting at the party barge stage.

11:05 am: Purple Group *If Needed* 100 MPH and over
11:10 am: Red Group 75-100 MPH
11:15 am: Orange Group *If Needed* 75-100 MPH

11:25 am: Blue Group under 75 MPH
11:30 am: Black Group under 75 MPH/ Cruiser Class
11:35 am: White Group *If Needed* under 75 MPH
