Join us on June 12 at 6:30 PM at the Carl Cappa Theatre for an illuminating evening with Leon Carroll, Jr., technical advisor on the hit TV drama NCIS and author of the gripping historical espionage novel Ghosts of Honolulu.
Carroll brings an extraordinary background to his writing: a distinguished 20-year career as a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), serving at seven duty stations across the globe. Before NCIS, he served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, ultimately achieving the rank of Major.
His newest book, Ghosts of Honolulu, transports readers to 1941 Hawaii on the brink of global conflict—a battleground for spies and intelligence agents where the island's residents find themselves caught in the crossfire. The story follows Douglas Wada, the only Japanese American agent in naval intelligence, and Takeo Yoshikawa, a Japanese spy gathering intelligence on the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor.
