About the event

50th year Celebration Night

Join staff and volunteers Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. CST for a fun, free family-friendly movie night at the hatchery!

We will have an outdoor screening of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax complete with popcorn, cotton candy, giveaways, and commemorative t-shirts for sale to celebrate the hatchery's 50th year.

Bring your family, friends, a chair, and a blanket to settle in for an evening of learning to speak for the trees!
