Backing the Badge: K9 edition

This will be a donation based (pay what you can) dog training group lesson. All proceeds will be for New Bern Police Department’s K-9 unit.

Come out and meet many different local trainers, learn new skills with your pup and support your local k9 officers 🖤

My goal is to help raise funds to cushion the K-9 unit in times of emergency or for routine expenses.

There will be a total of 4 stations and they will be 20 minutes each. Each station will have a different trainer to meet and learn from.

1. The art of relaxing (learning and teaching your pup place)

2. Leash handling skills (learn how to start teaching your pup how to heel and engagement)

3. Confidence building (agility equipment will be provided)

4. Recall and play (work with your dog to master recall in a distracting environment and play techniques)

We will end with a fun game with a prize for the winner! 🖤
