USk DBQ Meetup!

Our meet-up next week will be at the Millwork Night Market. We'll base from 8th and Jackson, in front of the musician's stage, and try to get a table, but feel free to spread out from there. Starting time 5:30; throw-down 7:15. New sketchers - bring a folding chair and your favorite sketch materials.

The following week, we'll meet on Monday, September 15, with dual start times - we lazy retirees can start at 4.00; hardworking job-holding sketchers at 5:30 (or times in between). It has been suggested we find somewhere "boaty." Yardarm? Other ideas? - send to me.

The week after that, we'll meet Tuesday, September 23. Greta Gorsuch has offered us her house as base for a North End sketch, including the Bee Branch.

Dubuque is a great environment with a wide variety of interesting opportunities for sketching; if you have ideas for locations, please pass them on. We will also be looking for interesting interior locations to keep our meet-ups going during the winter months - ideas welcome. —Wesiuu
