Uncommon Art Show

Join us for a reception celebrating The Uncommon Art Show in The Center Theater Gallery and Center Commons. The show is a medley of work from artists who have participated in the Uncommon Art Residency in Jackson or New York over the past eight years. The Residency was launched in 2017 at Sound View Greenport, New York, and then at the Anvil Hotel in Jackson, Wyoming, hosting contemporary artists, composers, musicians, and playwrights. Selected artists are given space and time to make art, explore, and a platform to share their work with the local community. The Uncommon Art Show brings together past residency participants for a multidisciplinary group show that will surprise and delight our community with new, fresh artwork from across the country.

The Uncommon Art Show is made possible by a partnership between Center for the Arts, the Anvil Hotel, Sound View Greenport, and Teton ArtLab.
