Loomis Chess Club Free Open Swiss G/20 d/5 Unrated

This is a preparation event for our rated event in November, but anyone can come to this event without participating in a rated event.

All players in one group Swiss style tournament. Time controls for this event fall under "dual" categories (Quick and Regular). Time Controls are game/20mins delay/5 sec and notation is encouraged. Each player taking notes should be caught up on their notation throughout the game until either player is under 5 minutes. Notation Sheets will be provided. Time clocks are required. A limited number of boards and time clocks are available if needed.

This event is not rated by US Chess. If this event was rated, it would affect a player's "quick" and "regular" ratings as it meets the criteria for both categories.

No memberships required, this is a free event.

First Round Starts at 5:15 pm (4 Round Swiss)
