Introduction to Data Collection

Introduction to Data Collection is an 8-hour, POST certified course that counts towards your introductory training. It is taught regionally in areas such as Jackson, Nashville, and Sevierville.

This serves as a basic, introductory level class. Every newly appointed RAC/Alt. RAC is required to attend this training to become initially certified.

The objective of this class is to introduce newly appointed RACs/Alt. RACs to the TIBRS system and help gain a better understanding of the data collection process and requirements. The training provided also includes offense definitions, classifications, and scenarios for clarification.
