Cathead Distillery, Mississippi’s first and oldest legal distillery, proudly announces the return of Cathead Jam on Friday, June 5 & Saturday, June 6, 2026. The highly anticipated two-day festival will once again transform the distillery grounds into a vibrant celebration of live music, local food and drinks, and community — all in support of expanding access to music education in underserved communities across Mississippi through Dreamnote.
Cathead Jam is not just a festival—it’s a movement. Owned by Dreamnote Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2022 by Cathead Distillery Co-Founders Richard Patrick and Austin Evans, the festival channels 100% of proceeds directly into expanding music education programs in Mississippi’s underserved communities.
“Dreamnote’s mission to ensure musical access to all children in our State, was started by three music lovers ingrained in Mississippi.” said Dreamnote Board Member B Jones. “It’s driven by their love to gather people and keep it going down the road for the future. ”
