Barktoberfest

Join us for a tail-wagging good time at Barktoberfest, a fall celebration for pets and their people at the Mississippi Museum of Art Art Garden! This Oktoberfest-inspired event offers a full day of fun and festivities, all while supporting homeless and at-risk pets in the local community.

Highlights of Barktoberfest include:

Pet Costume Contest: Dress your furry friend for a chance to win prizes and make a forever memory at the fall photo booth.

K-9 Contests & Activities: Participate in exciting competitions like the “Hot Dog Bobbing Contest” or the “Pup Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest.”

Live Music: Enjoy live music by Rusted Strings and a biergarten by Fertile Ground.

Local Vendors & Food Trucks: Explore a marketplace with pet products, handmade goods, and treats for both humans and pets.

Adoption Area: Meet adoptable pets and learn about local shelters and rescues.
