About the workshop:
Join Wiradjuri artist, Jessika Spencer, and enjoy a hands-on creative experience in a fun and relaxed setting. This session is perfect for beginners wanting to learn the basics of weaving!
In this workshop Jessika will guide Jacka residents through cultural weaving techniques, both traditional and contemporary, using modern fibres to make their own woven bracelet.
The small fee covers the materials cost and all skills sets are welcome to join in.
Time and location:
Saturday 18 October 2025, 2:00pm - 3:00pm at Jacka Playground, Zubrzycki Crescent.
Limited street parking is available. We encourage you to carpool or walk/ride to the park.
What to bring:
All material will be provided.
Please dress for the outside weather conditions, wearing comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes.
Please ensure any young children in attendance are accompanied by an adult and note that there are no toilets on site.
