About the event

Taketina into the groove and inner stillness FR/ENG
The workshop will be held in french and english

TaKeTiNa® is a combination of rhythmic meditation, creative musical training& self-awareness. It was created by Reinhard Flatischler in Austria and has been used for 50 years in music, pedagogy, therapy, corporate training and meditation.

Using the body as a musical instrument is as old as mankind itself. Based on rhythm archetypes, rhythmic images anchored deep in human consciousness, TaKeTiNa® combines voice, hand and foot movements in a completely new way: The participants are guided into three different rhythms at the same time, with step movements, clapping and singing - an experience that is usually reserved to musically trained people. With TaKeTiNa anyone can access this space of simultaneous perception and inner freedom.

In this process participants delve deeply into the multilayered essence of polyrhythm - becoming one with the flow of rhythm. Carried by the group as well as by the sound of the berimbau and the surdo, they are able to fully develop and enjoy their rhythmic potential.

Furthermore TaKeTiNa® allows us to develop many of the basic human qualities useful for our daily life in this complex world: Increasing emotional and physical resilience, embracing a new form of learning, gaining access to serenity and inner silence, being fully in the present moment, understanding chaos as a life force and mindfully negotiating this potential.
