Dedication Ceremony: Senator Bill Ramos Memorial Trailhead

Join the City of Issaquah in a ceremony to rename the East Sunset Way Trailhead to the Senator Bill Ramos Memorial Trailhead.

Mayor Mary Lou Pauly will gather attendees for the ceremony at the trailhead. All are welcome to join.

Bill Ramos was a former Commissioner and City Councilmember in Issaquah and a member of the State House of Representatives and State Senate representing Issaquah and Legislative District No. 5. Among his many pursuits, Sen. Ramos was an avid runner. He was often found running the trails in Issaquah, and in particular on West Tiger Mountain, which is supported by this trailhead. He passed away unexpectedly in April.

The Issaquah City Council voted Sept. 15 to rename the trailhead.

Parking will be limited, please consider carpooling or walking to the event if possible.
