Hussaini Islamic Mission
19 Thornbury Road, Isleworth, United Kingdom
Inspired by the profound teachings of Imam Ali (a.s.) and the Hadith that likens the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w.) to the "city of knowledge" with Imam Ali (a.s.) as its "gate," this community group aims to open the doors of knowledge for the Shia community in the realm of Artificial Intelligence. Just as Imam Ali (a.s.) provided the key to unlocking divine wisdom, we aspire to provide the key to understanding and mastering AI, ethically and purposefully, in alignment with the values of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.).
Our mission is to empower the Shia community to not only learn and use AI but to lead in this transformative field with integrity, guided by ethical principles rooted in our faith. We believe that AI, when approached with purpose and guided by the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.), can have a profound positive impact on society, enabling us to contribute to the welfare of humanity while staying true to our values.
Through education, collaboration, and innovation, we will work together to navigate the complex world of AI, ensuring that our advancements reflect the wisdom, justice, and compassion taught by Imam Ali (a.s.). Join us in unlocking the gates of knowledge and leading the way toward a future where technology serves humanity and aligns with the ethical framework set forth by our faith.

Introduction of speakers and the vision of empowering the Shia community to lead in AI
Info: Zaynab Al Asaadi is a Cyber Security Specialist with experience in digital security, cyber threats, and emerging technologies. In her session, “Cybersecurity & AI: Adversary or Ally?”, she will offer a clear and accessible introduction to cybersecurity—explaining what cyber attacks are, how AI is increasingly used by attackers, and how it is also strengthening defence and protection. Her talk is designed to help the community better understand digital risks and the role AI plays in keeping individuals and organisations secure in today’s connected world.
Info: Sajjad Najafi brings a deeply human perspective to the conversation around AI and modern work. In his session, “AI and the Gift of Time,” Sajjad draws on his personal journey—from moving to the UK at a young age and navigating professional spaces where faith often felt like something to hide, to discovering that showing up authentically enabled him to contribute and lead more effectively. Through this lens, he explores how AI, when used responsibly, can give us back time, clarity, and focus—allowing individuals to set boundaries, work more intentionally, and align their professional lives with their values. His talk combines reflection, practicality, and hands-on insight, making it relevant for anyone seeking balance, purpose, and ethical use of technology in everyday life.
