We journey through these 40 days of Lent focused on fellowship and meditation, together. The 4ISH expression of ELCA churches welcomes you home at Bethel, beginning at 5:30PM, on Wednesday evenings, during the Season of Lent.
We will begin serving soup at 5:30PM and end that offer when the soup is gone, or at 6:45PM, whichever comes first. ;)
The labyrinth will be available from 5:45PM until 7:30PM, each Wednesday evening. We invite you to embark on a new spiritual practice that highlights our, each, own work with God through this physical journey marked by art of all kinds. Bring an intention, and meet God along the way.
"A spiritual labyrinth is an ancient, single-path symbol used as a walking meditation or prayer tool, distinct from a confusing maze, guiding a person inward to a center for reflection and outward again for integration, symbolizing life's spiritual journey, wholeness, and connection to the divine. Walkers follow a deliberate, circuitous path to quiet the mind, release distractions, gain insight, and experience healing, often focusing on a question or prayer as they move toward the center and return to the world."
We look forward to walking with you in whatever way you can be present during this Season of Contemplation, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, in preparation for Easter.
