OCFA Firescaping Workshop

Join Orange County Fire Authority and Irvine Ranch Water District to learn about O.C. fire risks and how to defend properties through fire-resistant landscaping and structure design. Instructor Jonathan Lim will share insights from his firsthand experience working on recent wildfires in Southern California.

Learn how to:
• Identify and address types of fire exposure common in California landscapes.
• Implement vegetation management strategies through defensible space and fuel modification planning.
• Strengthen property resilience with home hardening practices and immediate zone improvements.
• Develop comprehensive plans for preparedness and evacuation to enhance safety and reduce wildfire risks.
