You'll get a quick course on how to throttle up, work the brake, and even blow the horn - and perform exciting challenges along the way. What's Included:
• One hour at the controls of KSHC Diesel 1100
• Half-hour safety briefing and rules class
• A set of skills challenges during your run, including:
- Braking accuracy
- Coupling to cars
- Proper grade crossing horn sequence

- Behind-the-scenes tour of our facility
Ages 18+ only - MUST have a valid driver's license.
Please be aware that accessibility to the locomotive will be through a step ladder or similar device. Riders will also be required to wear eye protection for their safety. Long pants (Jeans preferred) & Close-toed shoes must be worn (no Crocs or sandals).
