Plaidurday - Ironwood 2025

Plaid isn't just a type of clothing, it's a symbol of authentic Upper Peninsula culture.

JOIN US this year with Stormy Kromer in Downtown Ironwood for Ironwood's annual Plaidurday celebration! The famous picture will take place in front of the bright lights of Ironwood's iconic "Marquee" at 5:15 p.m. for the ICONIC group photo of everyone wearing their plaid. What plaid are you wearing?

Stay entertained as we celebrate with fun and energetic music by one of the U.P. and Northern Wisconsin's favorite band: "Dig Deep".

EVENT DETAILS:
10:00 to 6:30 p.m.
DOWNTOWN STORES: Plaidurday Scavenger Hunt Contest. Win
Stormy Kromer and local business prizes.

-Scavenger hunt sheets must be turned in by 6:30 p.m. at the Stormy Kromer Table at the City Square. Winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m. from the main stage.

4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
DOWNTOWN CITY SQUARE: Ironwood Farmers Market.

4:00 to 5:15 p.m.
AURORA STREET: Plaidurday Group Photo.

5:20 to 7:00 p.m.
DOWNTOWN CITY SQUARE: Music by: "Dig Deep".
