Sea Shanties with The Silver Darlings

Ever fancied learning how to sing sea shanties?

The Silver Darlings Sea Shanty crew will show you the ropes in an interactive workshop from 10.30am-12.30pm. Find out more about the traditions and histories of sea shanties and learn how to sing two songs.

The all-female crew of singers will perform a full set from 2pm-3.30pm, with workshop participants invited to show off their new skills.

Hailing from Southend on Sea, The Silver Darlings sing traditional shanties and other songs of the sea, blending two-three-part harmonies with a big dose of humour.

The workshop is suitable for ages 8+ and the following performance suitable for all.
