Introducing Rule Box Lockdown — our brand-new casual Pokémon TCG format that flips Gym Leader Challenge on its head!
In this format, only Rule Box Pokémon are allowed. That’s right — EX, V, VSTAR, VMAX, GX, and Prism Star Pokémon are all in play.
It’s high power, high chaos, and a whole lot of fun!
🧩 Format Highlights
Based on the GLC format (same set limits + ban list)
Decks must be single-type and singleton (1 copy of each card)
Rule Box Pokémon only
Eevee EX (Prismatic Evolutions) is the only allowed Eeveelution
You can use limited non–Rule Box Trainers (3 Supporters, 3 Items, 3 tools, 2 Stadiums, 2 Special Energy)
Up to 4 ACE SPECs allowed (1 of each type)
ADP-GX is banned
50-minute rounds, Best of 1
