All-ages Spoken Word Open Mic

Join us for a daytime all-ages spoken word open mic, at the (gorgeous) Hive, on Norwich Road.

2pm doors, kicks off at 2.30pm, finished by 5pm. Family friendly (no swears or adult content please), which means that everyone can attend. BYOB. (No bar on-site). We will provide some free light/soft refreshments.

Poetry, spoken word, stories, comedy, rap - originals & covers - all words welcome.

We are super grateful for support from Suffolk County Council 'Culture Project Fund' which has enabled this event to take place. We'll hold 8 of these throughout 2026, as an additional offering to our evening programme.
