Text and Textures: Women Creating Books with Bite

𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞

Obermann International Fellow 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐭 and visual artist 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐨 come together for a spirited conversation around women's narratives across hybrid forms. 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐊𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐥 leads them through this exploration of contrasts: personal v/s public, body v/s page, and text v/s texture. Join them as they weave literary explorations with oral histories and artefacts. An evening of literary disruption and metaphorical paper cuts as poetry meets craft meets critique.
