International Writing Program ICPL panel: Literature in the Age of Streaming

The age of streaming is creating a growing market for screen adaptations of canonical and recent texts; are authors now writing for the visual future? These essays explore how the influx of screen adaptations is redefining the literary landscape

The IWP Friday Panel Discussion series provides an opportunity for the residents of Iowa City to meet and converse with writers from around the world who are the Fall 2025 Writers in Residence at the University of Iowa International Writing Program.

The series is sponsored by The UI International Writing Program and The Iowa City Public Library.
