Ghosts in the Galleries

At a special edition of our program Art & Write Night, we are introducing a new wonderfully spooky activity for the month of October: GHOSTS IN THE GALLERIES 👻🎨 Participate in this take-home art project (for the chance to win a prize!) starting Friday, October 3, at Art & Write Night.

📸 Grab a gallery photo from the Museum of Natural History or Old Capitol Museum

🖍️ Paint, draw, or collage in anything "spooky season related"

📮 Submit your creation via Instagram DMs no later than midnight on Monday, October 27, to be featured in our voting bracket

🗳️ Follow along on socials to vote all week long

🏆 Winner is announced on Friday, October 31

You can collect your gallery photo at Art & Write Night, and they will be available at the Iowa Hall and Old Capitol Museum front desks through October. We can't wait to see what you create 😱
