Alumni box is reserved for the class of ’85.
Game admission on your own.
Whenever – Shakespeare’s Pub - 819 S 1st Ave, Iowa City
After the game…or at halftime…or whenever you want, head down the street to hang out and chat. Food and drink on your own.
Saturday, October 4
10:00am - Tour of City High
Gather at Opstad Auditorium for welcome message from Principal John Bacon. Tour lasts approximately 1 hour. Lots of changes at City High since 1985…new music wing, classroom space, gym, etc.
5:30pm to 8:30pm - Social Hour and Dinner – Palmer House Stable – 200 E. Main, Solon
Pizza, Salad, and dessert provided by Maggie’s Farm Woodfired Pizza
Veggie and gluten-free options will be available.
$50/person

Lodging: There are a lot of great hotel, Airbnb and VRBO options in the area, so it should be fairly easy to find something that fits your needs. If you’re interested in staying in Solon near Saturday’s dinner location, The Literary Hotel is a small boutique hotel just down the street.
NOTE: Court Street in IC is undergoing a massive reconstruction project, so access to City High and surrounding neighborhoods will likely be altered and rerouted in October. You can check road closures and detours here: Iowa City Road Construction
