NPTC Safe Use of All-terrain Vehicles (ATVs)

This course is for anyone rquiring the training and certification for safe and effective operation of an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). This includes:

• Farmers
• Forestry Workers
• Estate Managers
• Groundskeepers
• Golf course staff
• Self employed individuals who use ATVs for various work related tasks

NOTE: The minimum age to take an ATV course and assessment is 16 years old with no upper age limit.

This is a practical training and assessment program for individuals using ATVs for work. The course covers legal requirements, machine controls, pre-use checks, safe operating techniques on varied terrain, and basic maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient ATV use.

Assessment involves a combination of oral questing and direct observation of practical tasks during the course
