Essich Masterplan Consent Area Public Consultation Event

Residents and businesses are invited to help shape the possible Masterplan Consent Area (MCA) at Essich Road, Inverness.

Following the first engagement event in January, The Highland Council is continuing discussions with the local community on how a potential MCA could support much‑needed homes and infrastructure.

MCAs offer a new approach to planning by setting out advance consent for large or complex development sites. This helps to simplify the planning process, speed up delivery, and give communities a clearer picture of how an area may develop.

Residents and businesses can learn more, speak with the team, and share views on the emerging proposal for up to 400 new homes, green spaces, and supporting infrastructure. Tulloch Homes Ltd is the prospective developer.
