An Evening with David Sedaris

Renowned for his sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris is widely regarded as one of America’s preeminent humorists. Sedaris became a household name in 1992 after performing his essay “Santaland Diaries” on NPR’s Morning Edition. Since then, Sedaris has been a frequent contributor to the weekly NPR program This American Life and has penned more than a dozen collections of short stories and essays, including Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and the number-one New York Times bestseller Happy-Go-Lucky. His works regularly appear in The New Yorker, have twice been published in The Best American Essays, and have been nominated for five Grammy Awards.
