Billy Bright is a mandolin player best known for his inventive style and expressive tone that blend traditional bluegrass with progressive acoustic music. A founding member and former mandolinist of the Grammy-nominated band Wood & Wire, Billy helped shape the group’s signature sound through his dynamic picking and soulful songwriting. Based in Texas, he continues to perform, record, and collaborate with artists across the Americana and bluegrass scenes, earning a reputation as one of the most distinctive mandolin voices in contemporary roots music.
