6 Week Beginner Tango Series

This 6-part series will teach you the mysterious language of tango; once you know it, you can dance with any other tango dancer, anywhere in the world.

In this series we'll learn the foundations of leading & following improvised movements within the social tango structure, as well as a few basic figures, with a focus on fun & connection. Every class is followed by an informal tango party called a practica, with food, drinks, and dancing with the famously friendly Oxygen Tango community.

No partner required; we encourage rotating partners but it’s also ok if you’d like stick with the person you came with. This is a progressive series, so drop-ins will not be accepted after the first week.
