Synopsis: On the desolate moors of Yorkshire comes a tale of love, revenge, heartbreak and obsession. When Heathcliff is adopted by the Earnshaw family, he quickly falls in love with Catherine Earnshaw. Because of his mysterious origins, Heathcliff is mistreated and abused by Catherine's brother and a neighbor hoping for her hand in marriage. Forced apart from one another, Heathcliff is deprived of education and kindness. Upon hearing Catherine say it would degrade her to marry him, he runs away without a trace. Returning after three years, all forms of Heathcliff's prior degradation has vanished and he has returned a rich gentlemen. All aspects of him seem to have completely changed but one: His love for Catherine.

Nelly Dean: F/ age open. A self educated house servant and maid to Catherine.
MR. Earnshaw: m/ 30s, 40s,50s. An affectionate but temperamental father to Hindley and Catherine. He is particularly fond of Heathcliff.
Catherine Earnshaw: f/20s-30s. A charming passionate woman, though often temperamental when she doesn't get her way.
Heathcliff: m/ 20s, 30s, 40s Adopted under mysterious circumstances, he is often dark and temperamental. He is in love with Catherine.
Hindley Earnshaw: m/ 20s, 30s, 40s. Older brother to Catherine. He is often abusive to Catherine and Heathcliff.
Edgar Linton: m/20, 30s, 40s
A mild, well mannered gentleman neighbor who falls in love with Catherine.
Isabella Linton: f/ 20s, 30s
Edgar's younger sister. She is dignified and well meaning, but romantic and naive.
