Ever wonder what a director actually does? Now you can see for yourself, for free and on the street!
Join visionary director Andrew Roblyer for a one-of-a-kind, pop-up theatre experiment: live monologue coaching in a public space. Think Lucy’s “Psychiatric Help” booth from Peanuts, but for actors...and actually helpful!
Here’s how it works:
--Actors step up and perform a short monologue.
--Andrew offers live coaching and direction in front of whatever audience stops to watch
--In just a few minutes, you’ll see the performance transform before your eyes.
This is part rehearsal, part performance, and part theatre magic; a behind-the-scenes look at the director’s role that’s rarely made visible. Whether you’re an actor looking for free coaching, a theatre-lover curious about process, or just someone walking by, you’re invited to watch, learn, and maybe even step into the spotlight yourself.
Actors can sign up for free spots here: if they fill quickly, I'll add more! I'll post in/update the event with exact dates and times once actors sign up!

Friday 8/22 - 6:00pm-7:00pm

Because theatre doesn’t just happen on stage...sometimes it happens on the street!
