Instructors will start no later than 5 minutes after the posted start time.

GAI staff will determine if you may join the session or if you forfeit your ticket/place in the class. If it is determined that you are too late, and you have missed the introductory safety and process demonstration, this will hinder your ability to function in the session and to keep our staff, our studio and equipment , and then you safe, GAI will not allow you to be part of the session. NO refund or carrying of your ticket value will be honored.

There is a Silver Sign above this door listing some of the businesses inside the CCIC building. There is a ground level parking lot directly across from this door. In this workshop our instructor/s will guide you through studio basics in safety and process and then give a demonstration on the hot glass furnace-worked piece you will be making. You will then have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own. Your creation will have to cool down slowly overnight and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly.

COTTON -T-shirts and/or button downs- with or without sleeves.

COTTON-blue jeans or shorts work well.

Tennis shoes, hiking shoes, casual walking shoes. NO FLIPFLOPS, or SANDALS or HIGH HEELS.

NO Yoga gear. No work out clothing. No Nylon. No synthetic clothing!! NO TIGHT STRETCHY CLOTHING>>>>>

If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend in the studio.
