IUP College of Health Sciences' Run for the Health of It 5K Run/Walk

Come out for IUP College of Health Sciences' 2nd annual Run for the Health of It 5K! Coinciding with IUP's Family Weekend, it's a great way cap off the weekend for current IUP students, IUP alumni, and all friends of IUP. This year's proceeds will support our Food As Medicine initiative that addresses health and nutrition needs in rural communities. This initiative aims to integrate food-based interventions into healthcare by expanding access to nutritious foods, offering culturally-responsive education, and fostering partnerships between healthcare providers and local food systems. Additionally, the program will create hands-on learning and research opportunities for students in the College of Health Sciences, preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals to incorporate nutrition into holistic patient care.
