Just in time for Halloween and Christmas - the spookiest, most festive time of the year! We have a fun, new workshop to guide you step by step in drawing the beloved Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, from "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
IAA's masterful, Dayas Silvis will show you how to break down the subject matter into shapes by drawing it in pencil. Then, how to finish your work with ink to color. You'll leave with an art piece that can be displayed from October through December.

When, where, and how much?
This class will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10am to 3pm (with a lunch break from Noon to 1pm), at The Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar, located at 732 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA.
The cost is $30 for IAA Members and $45 for non-members.
The deadline to sign up is October 17, 2025. No refunds will be issued after this date. Space is limited so reserve your spot quickly!

Materials Provided:
All materials will be provided for this class, including pencils, erasers, inks, and drawing paper.
Materials You Must Bring:
Don't forget...you may bring a bagged lunch for our break from Noon to 1pm! Lunch items are also available for purchase from The Artist Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar. Their paninis and salads are exceptional! And, who doesn't love their coffees, teas, and other drinks?

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Oakbridge Academy of Art and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Dayas is a freelance artist, focusing on portraits and story illustration. She is currently employed with Creps United Publications as a layout designer and Customer Service Representative.
